How to Apply: Scribe

You must have an application on file in order to be contacted for an interview. We strongly encourage you carefully read the Job Description and Commitment sections of this website prior to filling out the scribe application.

Due to the high volume every year, only qualified applicants will be considered.

Download the scribe application in Adobe Acrobat format. Email the Legacy Head Scribe at legacyheadscribe@gmail.com with any questions or to verify receipt of your application. The Scribe Director will contact qualified applicants as our staffing needs permit.

How to Submit your Application

You may fax your application, but we suggest that you mail it in as well. Faxes are often difficult to read.

Tips for Applying

The success of the NACS Scribes Program attracts many qualified individuals and we may not be able to interview all applicants. The following tips may improve the opportunity of being interviewed:

1. Provide us with an e-mail address that is regularly checked, as this will be our primary form of communication.
2. Provide one or more phone numbers.
3. Type your responses.
4. You MUST include your transcripts to qualify for an interview.
5. Forward your immunization history at your earliest convenience. Failure to provide it will not disqualify you from an interview, but all NACS staff are required to comply to the Legacy immunization requirements before starting work.
6. Letters of reference are optional, but they may improve the chances of being interviewed.

You may find other helpful information in the Scribe FAQ section. When we conduct interviews, we first turn to the applications that we currently have on file. We suggest that you have an application on file at all times to be considered for the program.
